Care Instructions
Our prints are made to last a lifetime with the right care. Whether framed or unframed, a little attention goes a long way in preserving their beauty and vibrancy.
Handling Your Artwork
- Wash your hands before handling to avoid transferring oils or dirt
- Hold by the edges only — avoid touching the printed surface
- If unframed, lay flat in a clean, dry space until ready for display
Cleaning
- Framed Prints with Glazing: Use a soft microfibre cloth to gently wipe the acrylic surface. Avoid glass cleaners or harsh sprays — a light mist of water (applied to the cloth, not the frame) is all that’s needed.
- Unframed Prints: Do not attempt to clean the surface directly. Keep dust-free by storing in an archival-quality sleeve or frame promptly after opening.
Display Recommendations
- Avoid direct sunlight: Even with UV-protective glazing, direct sunlight can cause fading over time
- Keep away from moisture: Avoid hanging in humid areas like bathrooms or over heaters
- Avoid pressure: Don’t stack heavy objects on top of unframed prints or let them press against each other in storage
Long-Term Storage (Unframed Prints)
If you’re not ready to display your print immediately:
- Store flat in a cool, dry place
- Use acid-free tissue or archival materials between prints
- Avoid rolling if possible — if you must, use a wide, sturdy tube and roll loosely with protective wrap
With simple care and thoughtful placement, your iNKOGRAPHY print will remain a timeless feature in your space for years to come.
